"The ideas I stand for are not mine. I borrowed them from Socrates. I swiped them from Chesterfield. I stole them from Jesus. And I put them in a book. If you don't like their rules whose would you use?"

—Dale Carnegie (1888-1955) American pioneer in self-improvement

Memorial Donations to Library

Document Actions

Friends and family members of local residents have donated money to purchase items for the library in memory of their loved ones. This list covers items for 2008.

Friends and family of the following individuals have sent monetary donations to the library over the past nine months to memorialize their loved ones.  The library has selected the materials to reflect the personality and interests of the person.  Items purchased with memorial donations often fill a gap in the library's collection that the current budget could not accommodate.  These gifts are greatly appreciated.
